simple mathematics

unity ain’t gonna be reached, or complete,
until each & everyone, has begun,
to realise that the sum of plenty,
is more powerful than the sum of one,
it’s just simply mathematics - from
two came one.
then one joined with another to again make two
the fact that i’m giving to you,
my thoughts, in return you give me yours
shows that we crave for more
knowledge - & upon its,
acquisition, the decision -
should be to pass it on to the next to make three,
& in so lead,
the way forward,
knowing that if one has fallen,
four hands will be on hand,
in order to withstand,
the abandonment of one’s collective responsibilities,
i hope my individuality,
won’t hinder me
from seeing,
that a collective sense of being
is not just about thinking or believing,
but surviving & thriving
so then why is
the fact that i see unity
as simplicity
makes me feel like a minority within a minority,
cause it seems like so many can’t see,
as easy as it may be,
that unity - ain’t gonna be reached, or complete
until each & everyone, has begun,
to realise that the sum of plenty
is more powerful than the sum of one,
it’s just simply mathematics -
done.
