The intention of this project is to raise the meaning (in my journey) of today’s notions of romanticism and the spiritual, how it is conveyed through the genre of landscape. I am appropriating the 19th century compositions. I am reediting the images using the computer. I am reducing the image to the basic notion of what make a landscape. I am choosing the colours for the elements of nature with the help of a software and I finally compare the chosen colour with another colour system, the colour charts given in DIY shops. The support for each image is particularly chosen in the timber yard. What a story…!!! I also alter the size to 105 x 150 cm, the usual manufactured size of my paintings.
